Learn More About CRC Coaching and Mentoring
Peer Academic Coaches are trained and dedicated upper-level students (juniors, seniors, and graduate students) who empower undergraduates to achieve their goals. They help foster the holistic development of academic skills and support their educational journeys and personal well-being.
The Matched Advising Program for Sophomores (MAPS) is a year-long peer mentoring program focusing on navigating sophomore year and preparing for the transition to junior year. It exists to ensure that sophomores have access to information and resources to support them in feeling a sense of agency, inclusion and belonging as they navigate Brown's Open Curriculum, social life and future academic, career and life planning.
The CRC Leavetaking peer Program Coordinators coordinate peer advising support for students considering a leave of absence and foster a sense of community for returned leave takers.
